Alli Vassilakos and Barbara Munoz from Wayne State University’s women’s swimming and diving team participated in the 2025 NCAA Championships on Friday morning. Both athletes have advanced to the consolation finals in their respective events.

In the 500 free, Alli Vassilakos secured a spot in the consolation final with a time of 4:53.18, placing ninth. Similarly, Barbara Munoz advanced to the consolation final in the 200 fly, also finishing ninth with a time of 2:00.46.

The finals are scheduled for Friday evening, beginning at 5:30 p.m., with the women’s 500 free being one of the first events, followed by the women’s 200 fly as seventh in line.
