Olin Charnstrom and Clayton Kinnard from Wayne State University’s men’s swimming and diving team competed on Friday morning during the fourth day of the 2025 NCAA Championships in Indianapolis.

In the 500 free event, William Debroux finished tied for 32nd with a time of 4:32.75, which did not qualify him for the finals. In the 100 back event, Olin Charnstrom advanced to the consolation final by securing the 11th position with a time of 47.50. Gabriel Arias did not advance, finishing in 24th place with a time of 48.71.

Clayton Kinnard qualified for the consolation final in the 100 breaststroke, tying for 14th place with a time of 53.61.

The finals are scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m., with the men’s 100 back as the fourth event and the men’s 100 breast as the sixth event in order.
