Alli Vassilakos and Barbara Munoz, representing Wayne State University’s women’s swimming & diving team, contributed to their team’s score in the 1000 free event during the NCAA Championships held in Indianapolis.

Vassilakos secured a seventh-place finish with a time of 10:00.66, earning 12 points for her team. Munoz followed closely behind in ninth place, clocking in at 10:02.04 and adding nine points to the team’s total. As a result, Wayne State University stands in 15th place among the 28 teams competing, with an accumulated score of 29 points.

The competition continues with preliminary events scheduled to commence at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
