Michigan state Rep. Jason Wentworth (R-Clare) was among the overflow crowd recently attending a Right to Life of Gladwin County event.
“It was great to speak and be with many friends at the Sanctity of Life service today with the Right to Life of Gladwin County,” Wentworth posted on Facebook on Jan. 19.
Wentworth spoke at a prayer service at the Gladwin County Courthouse.
An inaugural March for Life event was held on Jan. 24 in Saginaw. Held at the Holy Family Church, those in attendance heard testimonies, prayers and songs throughout the day, leading up to taking part in the March for Life event.
The evening was capped by a walk north to the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption for Mass, as people pro-life held signs chanted along the way.
Now in his third-year of serving the 97th District, Wentworth serves on the House’s Insurance, Michigan Competiveness, Military and Veteran Affairs and Workforce and Talent Development committees.
