City of Hamtramck issued the following announcement on July 23.
FRIDAY July 24 Stop by Hamtramck Town Center (corner of Holbrook + Joseph Campau) in Hamtramck and we’ll load a 25-pound box of FREE PRODUCE into your car. Contact-free. No registration. No questions asked. If you’re in need, we got you. First come, first served from 8-11:30
If you’ve been looking to volunteer, now’s your chance! We have 1400 boxes to distribute into cars and could use your help. Just show up at our event location and we’ll put you to work with a great team of volunteers. Wear a mask and garden/work gloves.
