City of Grosse Pointe Park issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
Would you like to help promote local businesses and help support families in need? Look no further with the Food for the Holidays Adopt-A-Family program of the Grosse Pointe Schools.
How to participate
1) Contact one of the following participating restaurants either by phone, in person, or online, and let them know that you are purchasing a $40 gift card for the Food for the Holidays Program:

3) On December 21, the gift cards will be distributed to families that have been identified by the Adopt-A-Family program.
