City of Grosse Pointe Farms issued the following announcement on Dec. 17.
We are happy to announce the Pier Park Ice Rink is scheduled to open on Friday, December 18th at 4:00pm.
Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday: 4:00pm-9:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am-9:00pm
*Subject to change due to any new/changing restrictions or due to upcoming holiday.
Please note the following modifications:
* Mask/facial coverings will be required at all times.
* Skaters will be required to maintain social distancing while using the ice rink, including while on the ice. Gathering in groups will not be permitted.
* The Warming Building will be closed to the public. Restrooms at the Community Building will be available to use but be aware they can't be accessed with skates on.
We hope that everyone comes out and enjoys the ice rink this winter.
