City of Dearborn issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.
With Christmas in a few weeks, it’s time to indulge in the holiday spirit and enjoy an annual Dearborn tradition: “Dearborn Aglow.” As homeowners in the City decorate for the 2021 season, they have a chance to catch the eye of Dearborn City Beautiful Commissioners and receive special honors.
Residents can ensure commissioners give full consideration to their homes, or homes they feel are deserving of recognition, by submitting a nomination by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021. To nominate a house, please call 313-943-2216 or email citybeautiful@ci.dearborn.mi.us.
Commissioners will be scouring the city for the most impressive displays 6-10 p.m. from Friday, Dec. 10 to Monday, Dec. 13, 2021.
Commissioners will choose the best displays in each of their districts throughout the city, so be sure to turn on your holiday lights during every evening Dec. 10-13 to be considered.
This is also an excellent time for residents to travel through the city to view the beautiful and unique light displays exhibited by their neighbors.
Owners of the selected homes will receive commemorative awards.
