City of Grosse Pointe Park issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
The Hutton Ice Rink is tentatively opening tomorrow, Wednesday, December 23 at 10:00 a.m. If the weather is too warm, the opening will be postponed to the next day (weather permitting). Residents should check the website, or call the gatehouse at (313)-822-1681 to see if we're still opening. An ice rink supervisor will be on duty.
Hours:
Sunday - Saturday
10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Rules:
Only 20 skaters allowed at a time.
Skaters must wear a mask.
Skaters must socially distance.
No guests allowed.
The Lindell Lodge will remain closed (Park restrooms will remain open to public).
It is highly recommended by The City of Grosse Pointe Park to bring minimal possessions as possible and to leave anything of value at home (electronics, money, purses, etc.).
