Chuck Key, a former Wayne State Warriors men's basketball player, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Key played for the team from 2014 to 2018 and was recognized twice as a First Team All-GLIAC selection in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.

Key scored a total of 1,087 points during his college career, placing him 15th on the school's all-time scoring list. He recorded double-digit points in 55 games and achieved at least 20 points in a game on 12 occasions. He also had five double-doubles.

Throughout his time with the Warriors, Key made 474 field goals, ranking seventh in program history. His field goal percentage of .509 is ranked nineteenth among players with at least 200 made field goals. Key is listed as eighth in blocked shots with 81 and is twenty-fourth in career rebounds with a total of 470.

He played more than 100 games for Wayne State, one of only twenty-three players to reach that milestone. His total minutes played stands at eighteenth in school history with 2,570 minutes.

Key led his team in field goal percentage every season he played and led in blocked shots twice. In his final two years, he helped guide the Warriors to consecutive seasons with thirteen wins in GLIAC play and contributed to a nine-game winning streak during his junior year.

As a senior competing in GLIAC games, Key finished third overall for blocks, fourth for field goals made, and ninth for scoring.

Off the court, Key was named three times to the GLIAC All-Academic Team and earned Academic Honor Roll recognition five times while completing his bachelor's degree in Psychology.
